Puppy Memories - Casey

Casey
The addition of Casey to our pack made us feel complete. Although Scotty was hesitant because he honestly couldn't believe, after Star, I would bring home another puppy.
Star, on the other hand, was so happy to have Casey join our lives.

Casey loved laying in the yard.
But he didn't stay idle for long when there was something interesting going on.

And after a long day of exploring, he would find the small area between the couch and coffee table as the best place to relax and eventually fall asleep.

Puppy Memories - Star

Star was so tiny when I got her. I never thought she'd grow. She was my wild child, always ready to give me a comical pose.

And she loved piggy ears and wasn't happy when I wouldn't let her chew on them for very long.

She was such a sweet girl, but Scotty wasn't happy when I brought her home. He not only wouldn't go near her, but if I had her smell on my hands, he refused to come near me. It took him time to warm up to her.
But once they started playing together, they were fast friends.
Although neither will admit they like the other now, thankfully, I've got pictures to reminisce about the days they used to get along.

Puppy Memories - Scotty

Scotty
December 2002
Scotty was my first dog. I received him as a Christmas present a few days before Christmas Day. The pic below would have been cuter had the tree been decorated, but I was having too much fun playing with him to decorate.
Scotty loved playing fetch. We spent many hours with me throwing a stuffed toy and him happily running it back. The bigger the toy the better!
Another of his favorite games was tug-of-war.
And after all that fun, there was no shortage of pillows for him to climb up on and dream of his next great adventure!

I hope you'll join me by sharing your puppy photos and/or memories as a way to welcome Chewy and Tess.

I'll be keeping an eye out and post a link on my blog to your post.
Come on, it will be fun!
